This backpack was so cute but it is very rigid and the smell!! It smells like dead animal crossed with nasty fish, it is TERRIBLE. The teacher at her school actually put a dryer sheet in it, but it didn't even touch the smell. I would not recommend this to anyone.

love the backpack and it arrived super fast, but it smelled horrible. As soon as I opened it the smell hit me. I have tried everything to get rid of it and it still stinks. smells like fish

So stinky- have been trying everything to make it not smell like old cat pee. My kid loves it but if I can't get rid of the odor, I have to get something else. The manufacturer should do something about it since nearly every review said the same thing.
