I love this cookbook! I read it front to back like a book and now I'm going through and marking the ones that I want to make first--which is hard in itself because I want to make them all. All of the recipes that you remember when you were young and some new ones, tool. Even has canning recipes.

I remember eating old-time food like this when I was a lad in the 1950's! I will refer to this cookbook again and again, you bet! And it will NOT be loaned to anyone.

Many of the recipes in this book remind me of many of my childhood meals, we were not Mennonite but a lot of our food was very similar. The beef stir fry was made by my mother on occasion and I found this version a lot like hers. Thank you for a well done cookbook.
