I bought this gripper for an area rug that I placed on a dance floor. It works perfectly the rug does not move, and several people have tried it out by purposely trying to move it with their feet and. It would not budge. Exactly what I want.

Really didn't know what kind to buy. Bought this one cause the price was great. Cuts easy with regular scissors. It keeps my bath rug in place....but I wouldn't say it causes your rug to be slip-proof. I don't know what the other types are like.

I bought it for a hallway and it fits perfectly. I like the color and it goes well with the decor. It is not expensive so I am thinking of buying another one in a different color.
