This could have been a good lamp, but it is ruined by 3 flaws: 1) The lampshades are made from clear ( not frosted) plastic, and covered by a burlap mesh with about 75% open area. This looks OK when it is off (as in the sales photos) but when it is on the effect is close to having just bare bulbs...
