They needed to be replaced on my toilet. They break easy. I am glad that you can find them to be replaced. They are sturdier that what comes on it and are easy to install. I do recommend them for replacement parts.

These things work. They mount with a gel-like tape that holds tight. It cushions the seat from slapping down and it does not fall off even though very heavy people use the toilet. If you need to replace yours or add them they will work with any type of seat.
