We've been using ours for a couple years with zero problems! Easy maintenance and upkeep. It's quit during use and after a while you don't even notice it running. BUT, it is obvious when it is full and the motor kicks off and the humidity starts to go up again.

I have one of these and as the previous reviewer stated, it makes a lot of water. Which is exactly what it's supposed to do.
