from Where to drill not clear

The video shows the drilling in the exact middle , symmetrical which is off to the side of one of the indents which seems logical. This needs clarifying. No answer on my inquiry of a couple of days ago. The text just says there is an indent where the hole goes.

I really like this safe, but I really wanted to love it. My fault because I didn't notice that it does not come with a key. I know you can remove the batteries from the outside, but if for some reason you forget your code you don't have a key to get in. Also, a light would have been nice
