They are supposed to be dishwasher safe, but i've never had a stainless steel set before, so I wash them by hand. Hopefully, like anything, if you take good care of it, it will last a long time!

Bottoms are heavy, but handles provide good balance when held or transported. They heat up FAST, so use caution and lower heat. The instructions say not to use steel wool to scour. If you're looking for an inexpensive alternative to aluminum, these are a good investment.
