Calphalon Precision Series 8-inch Chef's Knife

This is my favorite 8" chef's knife that I have in my kitchen. I really enjoy the weight feel of the knife. It performs excellently when chopping and slicing. I do not use it on bones or anything of that type of density however. I would recommend this knife to any home cook.

This is only the second Chef's knife I have owned. The first was a gift from my dad 40 years ago. I did not make the decision to buy this knife lightly. I am getting used to it and think it will be my last.

I bought this knife about 3 weeks ago and I have now been using it for about 2 weeks. All I can say is, I absolutely love it! It is very sleek and professional with a very sharp blade. I can see that this knife will last a lifetime with good care.

I have the whole calphalon precision series knife set and it is an amazing set I bought the 8" chef as a replacement to my set but ever since the set was purchased it has been nothing more than amazing performance to me.
