Spins salad very efficiently. Easy to use, and top comes off easily to do each batch - I spun down 3 huge bowls of salad in only a few minutes. Love all Farberware products. I've had their cookware since I was a newlywed (1983!!), they are still great. Use the salad spinner almost everyday from salads, to herbs, have used the basket a couple of times in emergency for pasta draining. Good company. yes, recommend it.
