Although it's named the Brick, this bed is not hard and not even overly firm. Rather, I feel like I "float" on top of it softly without sinking in much at all. Back and shoulder pain have gone away with this bed, highly recommend!

Very supportive for my bad back! The aches after sleeping with a purely foam bed were terrible. The Brick Hybrid allows me to wake up with no additional pain.
