The lantern is a nice size for sitting on your table as a part of a centerpiece. It will look great on my patio table in the summer. It provides a nice amount of light for conversation. It's made of a metal and has a candle inside you can remove the candle to put batteries in.

It's beautiful. Put it on my coffee table. Very sturdy. Nice black finish. The flickering candle has 2 settings. On, or a 6 hour timer. The candle has a drop in and twist lock , so it stays in place. Very realistic. A regular candle would also fit in. Love it.
