These have a plastic coating on them and that helps prevent items from falling off all the way around. Thin like the velvet ones, but they're made with metal, so it holds a lot of weight without breaking. Haven't tried more than a pair of work pants.

These are by far the best hangers I have found they are slim, sturdy, and do not dry out like the velvet ones. Walmart, please keep these hangers in stock.

They are sturdy and nothing slips and they are good for all sizes of clothing without stretching the collars out of t shirts etc - I hope they keep carrying them I want to keep buying a few packs at a time to switch out my entire closet
