So far I'm pretty impressed with this shepherd hook. It's very tall and seems quite sturdy up to this point. I had bought a smaller plant to hang from it just to be safe. However, this small plant has become very large and awkwardly heavy. The hook is holding up just fine.

Its great for the price. Great for wind chimes and such. Seems sturdy enough when I stuck it in the ground. Great also for the pie pan noise deterrent in the garden. I would say it would hold about 10 lbs.

We bought these for my sisters wedding. The piece that goes in the ground is plenty long enough that you really have to pull to get them pulled back up so no fear of them falling over. This hook is a lot taller than I originally thought it was. But I like that it's taller. I found a nice perennial plant to hang on the hook in my oasis space. I wish there was a way to lock the curved part of the hook so if the wind get's high the plant will stay on and not possibly fall off.

This Panacea Products Metal Garden Shepherd Hook is a nice product. The 48 inch height makes it perfect for a number of different uses. It was not quite strong enough for my large hanging flower basket but a smaller size would work great! Other ideal uses for this would be hanging solar lanterns,...
