These turned out to be the best value, shipped directly to Walmart for pickup, and by a name brand. I also don't like thin wooden handles, and prefer the all stainles...

I like them very much except I was expecting non serrated edges and they do have them. The picture was not clear enough to see the edges

I have a knife set that sits on a wood block in my kitchen, same brand but these knives have an inferior "ragged" kind of edge. I lost of of the knives from my block so at least now the set is full but I used using the ragged .
