The color is not gray- it's a light tan, like what you see in the picture. This comforter looks really nice, so if you are just going to for looks, I think it's a good deal. But, I likely will be returning it because the fabric doesn't feel soft and it seems like it would be uncomfortable.

The color is boring. The comforter itself will keep you warm. However if you are looking for a plushy soft comforter this is not the one for you. I think the color would look better if paired with dark furniture or carpeting. My carpet is the same color as the comforter and it looks bland.
