It's a pretty simple shoe rack to assemble. It has tarp like shelves that wrap around the poles like a curtain rod. But they are pretty tight. I didn't fully read the description about the shelving but it was the size that I needed for sure.

we needed more shoe space and got this to replace the one hanging on the door. It is steardy and suits our needs. With it came in metal frames but this will do for now

Great shoe storage solution. Easy to assemble but was missing a piece, so I only have 9 shelves. I would have rated this 5 stars if all the pieces were in the box. I couldn't find a customer service number to inquire about replacing the missing piece.
