You get a sense of Greece and it's people through the descriptions but it's really a book about running away and finding yourself through unexpected friendships and in unexpected ways.

It was light. Pretty light. Pleasant enough in between things, but I don't think it lived up to the other ratings I have read. Whether or not I will continue with the series is still to be determined.

I received this book as a goodreads first-read giveaway. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The 2 main characters are believable and well developed. The story is full of hope that leaves you feeling that you can overcome even the most difficult obstacles. I will look for other books by this author.
