I've had many of these over the years as a professional mechanic. Grinding on the floor and ground they protect you and stay on. Mine lasted till I finally broke the zipper, and they were still good and if I wanted to fix with a new zipper I'd say they were still good.

High quality jacket but reasonably priced. This jacket seems to be true to size, so if you are going to be wearing it over thick or layers of shirts, you should order the next size up. Waist band is not elastic.
