was this used? or home made? I opened it and there was a very potent perfume smell and there are stains on it. I don't want to trash this seller by giving them a bad review . Anyone else experience this?

Lovely and what I expected. FYI...the actual decorative position (from end bead to end bead) is 44”. There is approx two feet of empty rope at each end.
