For it to be a "charm bracelet" that is listed as "expandable" it is referring to the size of the bangle and not the expansion ability of adding charms. This bracelet was very nice. Picture is accurate and my mom really liked it. I had ordered a picture charm thru Walmart photo and was able to clip it into this bracelet as a nice Mother's Day gift.
