I waited to give a review based on past purchase and reviews. It now June and the wiring still works fine. We have our ac set down to 65 degrees at nighttime and I use this once in while for my feet. Still works great.

Good item and would have go it five stars if there was move cord between the controller and where it plugs into the blanket. This causes you to have to reach too far in order to reach the controller.

My 5 cats sleep in the laundry room and it tends to be cooler than normal. I bought this electric throw for them so they could stay toasty during cold nights. Doesn't warm up fast, but if I start it up a while before they settle down for the night it's warm for them. They have voiced no complain...
