I wish the lid snapped on both sides but it snaps only in the front and back just sits on top. My suggestion use those command strips to secure your bags from falling down. Place the command strip facing down so it hold the bag upright. See picture below

Great for Gardening. Used to store potting soil to keep it from drying out. The pop top lid makes it easy to use a scoop to transfer potting soil to the potting bench sink. Also, the right size to store raised bed garden soil and fertilizer.

The lid isnt that secure. The whole top piece clips on by ONE back. I bought this because my dogs get into all my garbage (they eat everything) so its big and touch to unlock, just not sturdy lock on the corners to remove the whole top part. But good enough great price.
