The candle holder is very sturdy and holds a candle well with little worry of it falling out. The quality is very nice and does not appear that it will chip easily, especially if something bumps into it.

Mine is more of a antique silver/black color. I love how it looks, I keep it out year round. Very sturdy and holds candles with ease. My only regret is I only got one.
