The main thing about this can is it's construction. I am a disabled vet and sometimes do things a little different than most. The peddle is firm and easy to depress and the top/lid is soft close like the nice drawers- doesn't just drop. Lastly, the finish is awesome!! Not even my 4 year old niece...

This is a very nice garbage can. It is made out of metal, very steady, the lid opens and close very well and evenly. My wife loves this garbage can and she only say good things about it. The spring that holds the lid open is very well made also. 5* because it is a very strong product.
