Making ice cream means you need to plan ahead because you have to freeze the container, then when you mix the ingredients together you need to half freeze that before starting the machine. But it is a fun activity / Christmas gift and I'm sure I will use it alot. Good quality machine.

I've only used it once, but it took about 20 minutes to make my first batch of ice cream. It turned out great.
