I purchased this rug for our farmhouse style dining room and 3 months later I'm pleased to say it has held up well. The surface material is smoothly woven and easy to vacuum any crumbs that may drop from eating. It took awhile for the corners of the rug to flatten but that's to be expected.

Looks even better in person, definitely needs a rug pad.
