The sparkle of the original Bridget books is lacking in this text, which takes place before 'Mad About the Boy'. The ending is great, but it's a long tedious way to get there.

An easy read. An amusing read. All your favourite characters back in one book. Life isn't always beer and skittles, but you just have to make the best of it. We all have a little bit of Bridget Jones inside of us, that's what makes these books so amusing. I loved it.
