Absolutely what we needed to get our food preps done! Love it! Sturdier than our plastic one but the base is higher so we can't do the small jobs like before, but still exactly what we needed.

I got this to replace my previous hand blender. I make lots of soups in the fall/winter and love this type of blender to help puree things for my soups. This is pretty powerful for it's price and size. Easy to put together and take apart and the deep beaker is an added bonus.
