I loved this! I enjoy Kate Morton and this book was along those lines.. part mystery, part historical fiction... I genuinely enjoyed all of it!

I really liked most of this book. It was slow at parts and there were some parts that I didn't really see the point in, but it was good. The story and characters were great. I think if I'd read this before the Nightingale or maybe waited until next year, I'd have rated it higher? I'm not sure.

I've had this book on my shelf for a long time. I decided to listen to it on audio instead. While it did take me several nights listening before bed (I went right to sleep!), it then kept me up very late until I finished it! Glad I finally read/listened to it!
