I honestly don't think I could have loved this book more. The artwork was absolutely gorgeous! And Loeb writes "my Superman," the guy who questions if he's good enough yet always gets back up to do what's right.

A lot of this seemed to be retelling stuff that had already been done, especially in the John Byrne 1986 reboot, but it still felt fresh enough to be interesting.
