The desk works well for its purpose as shown. It took me a long time to assemble because my daughter and I use it as a craft table. I got it in all black and there are a few scratches on the desktop, but nothing too noticeable.

This desk looks good, but the quality is not very good. Part of the wood paneling is blistered and one corner is warped, the metal rods bend easily even if you just put your feet on them, and worst of all the two top panels are not level where they meet, so don't buy this if you have dual monitor...
