      Ridler seems to think his Mary Sue hero is a sympathetic guy moving through a 1970 LA. Not any LA I knew in the 1970s, and I covered a lot of the same phiysical landscape in my youth. His tell is very much at odd with his show in his sex scenes, as the results he describes really would depend on ...

      I received this from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. I really wanted to like this book, but unfortunately, it didn't really capture my attention. I didn't connect with the characters, and it turned into another run-of-the-mill urban fantasy that failed to live up its potential.
