Frankly, I didn't know what French terry was, but took a chance and glad I did. The material is soft, comfortable, just right weight for working around the house, and a good fit. This is a classic, athletic sweatshirt and I'd buy it again.

Not a thick sweatshirt, on the lighter side, but a pretty color, very soft and stretchy, should be very comfortable to wear. Was at a decent price and shipped quickly with no issues.
