I purchased this item for my son who is moving into his first apartment. I liked the simple design and weight of the flatware. I also liked that the set included the service pieces, i.e., big spoons, slotted spoon, etc. I would recommend this item as a good, everyday flatware set.

when purchasing silverware there is the matter of flimsy workmanship. these utensils are very very strong. a must have for homes with children. hard to bend.
