On the box the mattress reads 39"x75". It is not 39" wide. It is only 27" wide, and cot size. It is not twin size.

Wouldn't purchase this item again. Definitely not appropriate for metal platform bed frame unless going to have bed board or piece of plywood under it to prevent sagging through bed frame mesh. Seems it would be okay as mattress topper if needed or on carpeted floor for kids sleepover.

These are great and take up little space in the closet. When my kids have friends over they now have their own bed and they love it and say it's very comfortable. I think they would also be good for camping.
