I enjoyed this book. As far as dystopian books go, I think it would be a good introduction to the genre for the type of person who is interested in dystopian/post apocalyptic books, but is worried about them being to dark, gory, or full of man eating zombies. You can tell it was written in the 50's. The sexism and stereotypes are present but only minorly obtrusive. More concerning is the naivete (of the author, and of the main character).
