There is so much adventure in all of these books, and you can't help fall in love with Tally. She so strong and amazing and her ties between David and Zane make it that much more thrilling. My favorite was Uglies. The stories were amazing.

This book would be good to use during a literature circle. I think students will like this book because it portrays a would that seems ideal but gives no choice.

I adore this series. The first book was good but I loved the "Pretties" & the "Specials" books. It's of the young adult genre so a really easy read but still had some thought provoking content in there. It's like the book 1984 but on the teenager tip and set 300 years from our time. Think of Back...

The Uglies Series is absolutely amazing, but not the most amazing. I loved it because it provided adventure, science fiction, and likeable characters in a page-turning twister of a series!

Quite a nice quick read with tons of social/moral and ethical questions raised. I want call it on a similar level of Orwell's "1984" but with a strong focus for YA readers and not nearly quite as dark or hopeless. Uglies: A little slow start on this one and the "teenage" babble was a little tedio...
