Colors are beautiful. Base color is def more cream/off white than stark white. It's very thin so you'll likely want a rug pad underneath if u want a plush feel. Ours is brand new and we don't have one yet. Our fear was that it would be somewhat of a gawdy, tacky gold but it's not. We love it!...

This runner is almost to pretty to walk on and so soft under foot. I love this so much I'm going to try to find it in another size for the kitchen. I would recommend a rug pad because it slips without one but it does make it even more of a joy to walk on.

The rug pattern is advertised as well as length. The rug is very thin and not super well made which is not surprising given the low cost of the item.
