I really enjoyed this book. It's always interesting hearing from first hand accounts of what really happened during the war. Dorothea also emphasized how many of the horrors of war happened after the war.

I really tried to get into this book but found it very difficult at times. The story is very interesting but was all over the place at times. In the end I found it was a good read. If you like to read about the Holocaust/Adolf Hitler era then you should read this book!
