This drive is smaller than I thought it would be--a good thing! My Mac recognized it immediately and a friend helped me set it up to be compatible. Taking steps to secure my personal data makes me feel much better.

I bought two of these 4-TB hard drives. I just checked on one of them and all seemed okay but the second one has not been checked out yet and won't be till after Xmas. All boxes came quite damaged in one corner as id it had fallen a great distance.
