avoid. the plastic housing on the bulbs allows moisture in and causes corrosion which kills these bulbs. the bulbs themselves use a very thin metal which breaks easily when switching bulbs.... no shunt on bulbs, good luck diagnosing.

Will not buy again. Bought four sets last year put after a week three sets went bad.

I agree with TomNeverwinter. I bought 8 sets in Dec 2018. Of those 8, 2 worked when I got them out over Thanksgiving 2019. 2 did not work at all and the other 4 had sections out. Upon inspection, each of the nonworking or partially working sets had diodes (bulbs) on which the wire had corrode...

Bought 6 of these last week. They looked awesome at first. 1 week later 4 of them went out! Dont buy these!
