This futon works great just as expected for a futon. It was easy to build. Mattress shipped separately and arrived just shortly after the frame. Very solid frame. I have it in my basement and love it. It's a great piece for basements, dorms, apartments etc.

I ordered this futon to put in the upstairs playroom for the kids. It is extremely sturdy - the mattress is a material that has some sheen to it and I think it will be easy to spot clean. It's pretty comfortable for a futon too! I love the wood arms and the storage in them.
