Growing up I was always a fan of the Magic Tree House series. I enjoyed this particular book, "Ghost Town At Sundown", for a few reasons. I picked this book up expecting to feel brain cells dying as I read it. I was very wrong; I can see why my students enjoy this series so much. It's very well written (albeit extremely simplistic) and interesting. It was an extremely quick read and is educational, to boot!

Jack and Annie travel back to the Wild west and help reunite a mama mustang with her colt, give a cowboy advise on his career, and solve the riddle bringing them closer to becoming Master Librarians. This is a good book for young readers as the series is enthralling and also encourages reading.
