This keeps ice water as ice water for at least 12 hours. I don't know why anyone would spend money on a yeti.

Seems to be pretty durable, but I think the lid needs a few tweaks. I dropped the unit a few times, one time caused a spiderweb crack on the lid but its still intact. Although the label says that it can keep water warm for 26 hours, but as per my observation, it keep water acceptably warm only for 5-6 hours. I do not know how and under what conditions the company claim 26 hours hot. Perhaps marketing department has worked really hard.
