It came in about 9 boxes! But, it was very easy to follow directions, every piece went together well, only concern was the rails on top bunk, but we bought longer screws, to make it more secure. I got the twin over full, with drawers underneath. Good quality made!

Overall, very impressed. Not too hard to put together, no missing pieces, it's real wood and very sturdy. The color and finish are very nice as well. Added some longer wood screws to the small railing at the end of the top bunk by the stairs but that was the only piece that did not feel sturdy...
