Wow! One can get quite an education from reading this book. Alas, it is the sort of mystery where the baddie is unknown until the last 10 pages. But more than a mystery, it is a sermon on honor. Okay, it is an honor most of us might never encounter but it is still sacred to those involved.

A quick but taut thriller, featuring a diverse cast that moves at a mile a minute. It starts relatively normal for a book dealing with an assassin, but then we met up with villains that wouldn't be out of place in Spider-man. And it just gets better.

Black Lotus 2 is an easy, short read with lots of action and great characters. This is an excellent book for the beach, fun, with some mystery, and just a hint of science fiction. [Note: A copy of this book was provided to me by the publisher as a LibraryThing Early Reviewer.]
