I purchased this set for my 4 year old son. He loves it and it looks great! The colors are nice and so far, the sheets and comforter have held up nicely through a few washes.

my son and i love this comforter. its light weight, so the furnace that my son is, doesnt get over-heated. it fits perfectly on a twin size bed... would not recommend for a full sized bed. ... a trivial issue i have with it is, the tagging. its at the head of the bed, not at the footing like norm...

Although it is not real thick it is warm. The feel of the material is wonderful and it is not acceptable to lint. I believe you would need another blanket under it for very cold winter nights though.
