The dish is super heavy it does have some weight to it almost feels like a small cement block we used it to fill with fruit something light not to add weight overall it is a good divided serving dish it did well in the dishwasher becoming clean the only negative is the weight of the dish

Very heavy and large serving dish. The possibilities are many with this dish. It could be used for two side dishes or a dip in one half and food to dip in the other. Or just simply two crudites. I don't care for the feeling of unfinished clay but it's a very nice looking piece.

This divided server by Better Homes and Gardens (BHG) is a heavy, ceramic piece. Most of it is a glazed off white color and the bottom looks dipped, into a rougher tan color. It can be used in the oven but we use it in our table with different types of candies and chocolates in each side.
