to can't even open it. unscrewed the center top easily and the bottom screw falls off. take off the cardboard without problem.

This strainer works great in our bathroom sink. Its too small to cover the kitchen sink drain yet too large to fit in the kitchen sink drain, lol. For the bathroom it works at catching stuff including hair. The water goes down the drain ok, a little is there but it is not much at all - see photo....
